Terms of use
Last updated: November 6, 2026
By creating an account you accept these terms. Toquem is the platform where musicians and venues meet and agree gigs; the contract for each performance is between the musician and the venue.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and give truthful information.
- Your account is personal. Keep your password safe and tell us if someone uses it without permission.
- One account can have both a musician and a venue profile.
2. Profiles
- Musicians: to publish your profile you need at least one genre, a link to your music and a bio of 30 characters or more. Until then, the profile stays as a draft and nobody sees it.
- Venues: the profile shows name, type (venue or bar), city and, if you want, capacity and equipment. The address is only shown to the musician you confirm a gig with.
- Verified: Toquem may mark a profile as verified after checking it. The badge does not guarantee the quality of the gig.
- Only publish content that is yours or that you may use, without third-party data or offensive content.
3. Proposals and gigs
- The venue proposes a date, fee and message to a musician who has that date free, at least 72 hours in advance.
- The proposal expires after 7 days, or earlier if the gig is sooner.
- When the musician accepts, the gig is confirmed: the date is booked, other proposals for that day are declined and both parties see each other's contact.
- A confirmed gig binds both parties. If you have to cancel, do it as soon as possible from the app and give the reason; the other party gets an email. Repeated last-minute cancellations may lead to account suspension.
4. Price
During the launch, Toquem is free for everyone: we charge nothing and are not involved in paying the fee, which the venue and the musician agree and pay directly. Before we start charging, we will email you at least 15 days in advance and update these terms.
5. Community and conversations
- The Community is only visible to people with an account. Everything you post there can be read by all of them.
- You can write to any musician or venue. Until you have a confirmed gig, the app hides emails, phone numbers and links in messages, so the deal is closed inside Toquem.
- There are daily limits on posts, replies and new conversations to prevent spam.
6. Reviews
- After each gig played, each party can rate the other from 1 to 5 stars with a comment.
- They are blind: published when both parties review or after 14 days.
- They must be honest and about the gig. We will remove false or offensive reviews and those containing personal data.
7. Ranking of results
Searches show first the profiles with more gigs played on Toquem and, when tied, a better average rating. Nobody pays to appear higher.
8. Conduct and moderation
It is not allowed to impersonate someone else, publish illegal or discriminatory content, harass, spam or use someone's contact for purposes unrelated to the gig. Anyone can report a profile, post, reply or message. We may remove content and suspend a profile that breaches these terms; we will tell you why and you can ask us to review it.
9. Leaving
You can delete your account at any time from «My account», as long as you have no confirmed gigs ahead. What is deleted and what is kept is explained in the Privacy policy.
10. Liability
Toquem is not a party to the performance contract and is not responsible for the gig taking place, the quality of the show, the payment of the fee or each party's obligations (permits, SGAE or other collecting societies, social security, taxes). We are responsible for providing the platform service with due diligence.
11. Changes
If we change these terms, we will email you at least 15 days in advance. If you disagree, you can leave before they take effect.
12. Law and disputes
Spanish law applies. If you are a consumer, you can go to the courts of your place of residence. Otherwise, the courts of Barcelona.
